Sweet Torrejas

Ingredients:
1 packet Exquisita Vanilla Cake Sponge
3 eggs
200 cc milk
Butter to taste (for the mould)
Flour to taste (for the mould)
200 cc milk
4 eggs
1 coffee spoon ground cinnamon
Zest from 2 oranges
1 orange juice
Butter to taste
Directions:
Pre heat the oven at 160° for 15 minutes.
Butter and flour a pudding mould.
In a bowl beat the eggs with the milk and add the contents of the Exquisita Vanilla Cake Sponge packet. Blend well and beat for 3 minutes with an electric beater or 5 minutes manually. Pour the mixture to cover half of the cake mould.
Bake it for 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean and dry.
Leave to cool and remove from its mould
Mix the milk with the eggs, the ground cinnamon and the zest from oranges.
Once the sponge is cool cut it into slices (nor too thin or too thick). Soak them thoroughly into the eggs preparation.
In a heated pan with butter cook the slices on both sides until they brown.
Serve warm or at room temperature. Sprinkle with cinnamon and impalpable sugar.
