Molinos - Dolmas
Rice recipes




1 cup Gallo Double Caroline rice

1 chopped onion

1 cup chopped green onion (only the green part)

10 canned grape leaves

200 grams minced meat

½ cup minced fresh mint

1 tsp. lemon zest

Lemon juice

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste



Mix the ingredients for the stuff in a bowl, without cooking them: the rice, the meat, the onion, the green onion, the mint and the lemon zest. Mix very well and season with salt and pepper.

For the dolmas: Place a grape leaf over a table and put a bit of stuff in the center, fold both sides so that the stuff does not overflow, and roll the leaf making a little cylinder.

Repeat these directions for each of the grape leaves.

Place the dolmas in a deep skillet or pan.

Pour the lemon juice, some olive oil and boiling water until covering the dolmas.

Put the lid on and cook over low heat for about 40 minutes. Serve with tomato sauce
